Itinerary
Day 1 – Nice, capital of the Riviera
Arrival in Nice and first immersion in the capital of the Riviera. Guided walk through Vieux Nice: the flower market of Cours Saleya, baroque chapels, narrow lanes scented with socca — the local chickpea pancake worth tasting on the spot.
Late afternoon stroll along the Promenade des Anglais as the light turns golden over the Baie des Anges. Welcome dinner and overnight in Nice.
Day 2 – Villefranche, Èze & Monaco
Morning departure along the Lower Corniche to Villefranche-sur-Mer and its perfectly preserved fishing harbor, then up to Èze, a medieval eagle’s nest perched 400 m above the sea. Visit of the exotic garden and its unforgettable panorama.
In the afternoon, Monaco: the Prince’s Palace, the cathedral, the old town of Monaco-Ville and the legendary Casino de Monte-Carlo square. Return to Nice for the evening.
Day 3 – Saint-Paul-de-Vence & the perched villages
A day for art and perched villages. Morning in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, the village that seduced Chagall, Matisse and Picasso — galleries at every corner and ramparts overlooking the hills. Optional visit of the Fondation Maeght, one of Europe’s finest modern art museums.
Continue to Tourrettes-sur-Loup and Gourdon for spectacular viewpoints over the coast. Overnight in Nice.
Day 4 – Antibes, Picasso & Cap d'Antibes
Departure for Antibes and its old town enclosed in 16th-century ramparts. Visit of the Picasso Museum, set in the Château Grimaldi where the artist worked in 1946, then stroll through the Provençal market and Port Vauban, home to some of the world’s most impressive yachts.
Afternoon at Cap d’Antibes: coastal path with turquoise coves and views over the Lérins Islands. Overnight in the Antibes area.
Day 5 – Cannes & Île Sainte-Marguerite
Cannes, in the footsteps of the stars: La Croisette, the Palais des Festivals and its famous red-carpet steps, the Forville market and the old quarter of Le Suquet with its sweeping bay views.
In the afternoon, boat crossing to Île Sainte-Marguerite: pine forests, clear waters and the fort where the Man in the Iron Mask was held. Return to Cannes, overnight in the area.
Day 6 – Grasse & departure
Last morning at leisure: a swim, a museum, or a final espresso on a sunny terrace. Depending on your departure time, optional stop in Grasse, world capital of perfume, for a guided visit of a historic perfume house.
Transfer to Nice airport or station, with memories of the Riviera’s greatest hits in your luggage.
